Salazar to Support Johnson for Speaker

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) announced her support for Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) to continue serving as Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 119th Congress.

“The American people sent us to Washington to lower costs, create opportunities, and keep America the dominant force for good in the world,” said Rep. Salazar. “Uniting with President Trump and Speaker Johnson today puts us on the path to do just that.”

Congresswoman Salazar proudly represents the city of Miami and its surrounding suburbs and beaches in the House of Representatives. The daughter of Cuban political refugees, she is focused on preserving liberty both at home and abroad.
